We were planning to set up the preorder for Prayer on Wednesday, but we couldn’t figure out why we were waiting. So we’re not.
Susan uploaded it to Amazon and Smashwords this afternoon. The preorder is already active on Smashwords. It’ll probably be tomorrow for Amazon, and then a few days from now on iBooks, B&N, and Kobo.
I’ll update this post with links as the preorder goes live at various sites. The release date is Saturday, 30 January 2016

The Pagano Family Series, with the exception of Nick’s story (because Nick is Nick), is a considerably gentler series than the Night Horde books. Word on the street is that Prayer is our first “sweet” romance.
We never set out to write anything in a particular style. We don’t try for “gritty” or “sweet” or anything in between—we just follow the characters, and they tell us their story. John is a good guy. Katrynn is a good person, too. They have their problems, but they don’t have a lot of darkness in them. Thus, neither does their story.
Katrynn is very close to Bev Pagano, and Nick and Bev are substantial secondary characters in Prayer. There’s stuff going on in their lives, too. And there is some intersection with Nick’s business. But most of the related violence happens off the page here.
Although it’s been well established that my sensibilities, as Susan’s muse, run deep into the dark side, even I recognized that dark wasn’t right for John’s story.
Besides, I have bikers and Vikings to satisfy my bloodlust. Heh.

John Pagano is the “good son” of his family, the one among his brothers who has always done what was expected of him, who was never a disappointment or a trouble.
